This multi-award winning film from Spain is a wonderful testament to the endurance of friendship, the value of life and the love of a dog. Julian (played by incomparable Ricardo Darín), an actor in Spain, and Tomas Javier Cámara (a frequent actor in Almodovar films), a scientist living in Canada, rekindle their close childhood friendship. Julian, suffering from lung cancer, has refused further treatment and wants to tie up loose ends with the help of Tomas. His bullmastiff, Truman, is the most pressing problem to resolve. Funny, life-affirming, humane and a must-see. In Spanish with English subtitles. Brought back by popular demand!
