The House of David is a religious community founded by Benjamin Purnell in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1903. The members came from all around the world, relinquishing all their worldly goods for the promise of life everlasting. They built an amusement park, a baseball league, had many patented inventions and owned 100,000 acres of farmland, a gold mine, a diamond mine and much more. This documentary chronicles this fascinating part of Michigan history from its beginnings to the present day. Director Byrd scheduled to attend.
